Find Files by Name

find ./ -iname '*conductor*' 2>/dev/null

-iname is case-insensitive; 2>/dev/null hides the permission errors that show up when the search crosses system directories.

Find and Delete Files by Name

find . -iname '.DS_Store' -print -exec rm -rf {} + 2>/dev/null

-print lists what is removed. Run it once without -exec to confirm the matches first.
